In the latest news of the world of art and photography in Iran, we can mention the photo exhibition of Sohrab Naimi, lecturer of photography sciences at the university and also the author of photography books. The exhibition of his photos and works will be held on the fourth of 26 August in the month of 2022 at the White Line Gallery.
Sohrab Naiemi is one of the Iranian photographers and artists who has always written his statements in the form of books or works of art. For this reason, it can be mentioned that the third exhibition of his works will be presented in the form of fine art.
{Ask my heart} is the name of Sohrab Naiemi’s latest photography exhibition, which is about anti-war.
Statement
I will start with this meaningful word:
In the name of God, the owner of inscription and pen, the author of existence and non_existence.
War has always been one of the concerns of human life since ancient times til now and It had profound psychological, social and physical effects on people and society. on the other hand, war can be seen as a link between countries and people, a relationship that has spent only about two hundred and fifty years in public peace out of three thousand four hundred years of written history.
So, war is not only a disaster, but also it’s the shameful creator of human history.
Therefore, the author believes that When human societies close the boundaries of thinking to each other, they have no choice but to open the gates with weapons and war.
So, the importance of war and its effect on the human civilizations can not be ignored.
Even the imagination of being deprived of freedom or being captured by enemy is so painful that it can be the most painful period of life. a period that can be the beginning of life with the fear of being killed and It can take years.
With this intellectual background, artists of the modern period from the past to the present have reached a bitter words which is one of my missions too :
” Ask my heart “, the title of the exhibition that expresses my intellectual concerns ؛ If these fears are not depicted on paper and photos, will be condemned to miss and regret .
The author believes that representing the truth in any society even if it is expressed in a bitter way, will have valuable results that one of them is reaching hope.
Then, come and ask my heart firmly and after watching my works, let me tell you about the moment the clouds blow away and the appearance of sunny days.
” Ask my heart” and whenever the wars are over everywhere, let’s watch the sun shine through the clouds together.
” Ask my heart” expresses the pain of girls and boys, brothers and sisters and all people who are in captivity.
, ” Ask my heart” is trying to express about the sun’s rays like many thinkers who supported it and even on cloudy and rainy days, they have not stopped praising the sun.
With this introduction, I decided to organize an exhibition entitled ” Ask my heart”, to display my works by using multiple photography techniques in new concepts and effects and of course, I try not to forget the principles of aesthetics in creating my artworks.
Hoping that this exhibition will be an experience for me as a young student of the Iran art arena and an opportunity to be analyzed by professors and art lovers who have opinions in this field.

Sohrab Naimi was born in Tehran and Graduated in civil engineering and Graduated with a master’s degree in photography.
He started his scientific work by teaching in schools and universities.
